PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH TO VISIT GIDDINGS & LEWIS PLANT IN FRASER, MICH.
 FRASER, Mich., April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- President George Bush will visit the Giddings & Lewis manufacturing plant in Fraser Tuesday, April 14, to address employees and members of the local chambers of commerce.
 W.J. Fife Jr., chairman and CEO, is heading up the company's coordination team for the president's visit. Giddings & Lewis is the largest supplier and integrator of industrial automation equipment and systems in North America and the fourth-largest in the world.
 "It is fitting that the president has chosen a Giddings & Lewis plant for this visit," Fife said. "Our systems and innovations are essential in America's effort to raise productivity, reduce costs and improve quality in order to better compete in global markets."
 The company's automation hardware and software are used to produce such end products as automobiles, aircraft and aircraft engines, construction and farm equipment and a variety of other industrial and consumer goods in some 250 different industries worldwide.
