PRESIDENT BUSH TO APPEAR ON BET'S 'CONVERSATION WITH ED GORDON,'

 WASHINGTON, May 22 /PRNewswire/ -- President Bush is the featured guest on BET's "Conversation with Ed Gordon," Thursday, May 28, at 8:30 p.m., EDT. This is the first nationally televised one-on-one interview President Bush has granted since his return from surveying the Los Angeles uprising.
 BET News anchor Ed Gordon talks to Bush about criticisms of the Bush administration's response to the unrest in Los Angeles, his views on civil rights and his alleged role in fostering racial intolerance in the United States. This is the second conversation Gordon has conducted with President Bush since his taking office.
 "Conversation with Ed Gordon" provides viewers a look at notable personalities who discuss a variety of personal and professional topics. On April 14, "Conversation with Ed Gordon" featured an exclusive interview with former Washington Mayor Marion Barry two weeks before his release from prison.
