PRAB REPORTS FIRST HALF PROFITABLE

 KALAMAZOO, Mich., May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Prab Robots, Inc. reported first-half sales of $5,119,000 and a net profit of $150,000. These results compare with sales of $5,646,000 and a net loss of $215,000 in the same period a year ago.
 Net income in the first half is attributed to favorable litigation settlement and amortization of a non-competition agreement. Operating income of $21,000 in the first half of 1993 compares with an operating loss of $15,207 for the same period a year ago. The swing to operating profits resulted from overhead reductions combined with an increase in Conveyor sales of $1,304,000 vs. the same period a year ago.
