PPP has made no serious effort to resolve the problem of water in Karachi: Khurrum Sher Zaman.

KARACHI -- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi's President and MPA Khurrum Sher Zaman stated that PPP is in government for this eleventh consecutive year in Sindh. They constructed the gold castles with the money earned from hard work of the public, which they looted in form of tax. The Qaroon treasure found from Speaker Sindh Assembly's home is a prime example. There are other gold mines to be explored ahead. 'Okay, you looted the public, you may have done some work also, but in actuality, nothing was done.

The public of Karachi is deprived of one of the major necessity of their life, which is water. The water Karachi's citizens are using is not suitable for ablution and for taking a bath. You can live a miserable life by using such water and you cannot fulfill the requirements of Islam.' Mr. Sher Zaman stated. He added, 'PPP has made no serious effort to resolve the water crisis in the city. Dam has water but no water for Karachi. The plans of Sindh Government related to water are delayed and the citizens of Karachi are drinking filthy water full of worms.' The President of PTI Karachi said, 'If water emergency is implemented, we're afraid with PPP Government that the result would end up like the educational emergency in Sindh, meaning no progress. Public has no option but to bring the water for their homes from far-away places similar to the stone-age.

The stone age was better because you did not have to wait in long lines as you see in Karachi.' At the end he said, 'The injustice with Karachi will be costly for PPP. The public will be with PTI in local bodies elections. Next Mayor Karachi will be from PTI and there will be no water deficiency for Karachi.'
