PPP always worked to strengthen institutions: Jahangir Badar.

LAHORE, January 30, 2010 (Frontier Star ): Secretary General of Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) Jahangir Badar said that reference against him was filed in 2001 and he has been facing courts since last nine years while dictators always tortured PPP workers. According to a private TV channel here on Saturday he while talking to media men in front of NAB court in Lahore Jahangir Badar said that Pakistan Peoples' Party respects Supreme Courts' all decision and restored prestige of judiciary. Workers of Pakistan Peoples' Party faced judicial proceedings and would never hesitate to face courts in future either. He said that Pakistan Peoples' Party always worked to strengthen institutions and we do not want confrontation between institutions. He said that he is facing proceedings since last nine years and in future would not hesitate to face references against him. Jahangir Badar said that workers of Pakistan Peoples' Party were tortured in different tenures of dictators but Peoples' party never harmed institutions. Talking about the statement of Rana Sana Ullah about Governor Punjab Salman Taseer he said that this statement is irresponsible and is against the democratic values. He said that that political parties always negotiate at a constitutional forum instead of giving harsh statements against each other.
