PPP MNAs submits Calling Attention notice in NA Secretariat.
Islamabad -- The PPP MNAs, Ms Shazia Atta Marri, Dr Nafisa Shah, Ms Beelam Hasnain, Dr Arza Fazal Pechuho and Ms Shahida Rehmani have submitted a Calling Attention notice in the National Assembly Secretariat under Rule 88 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in National Assembly 2007.
In the Calling Attention notice they have invited attention of the Minister of State for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination that the pentavalent vaccine worth $1.3 million, enough to vaccinate 400,000 infants against five potentially deadly diseases has been spoiled and wasted in a storage room at the National Health Services (NHS).
They in the notice said that it was the biggest incident of the sort to have taken place in the last 18 years. They added that the issue was very serious and demands immediate discussions on the floor of the house.
