POTENTIAL SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES: GSA/IRS DETROIT COMPUTING CENTER PROJECT

 WHAT: The United States General Services Administration, in conjunction with the Walsh-Higgins & Company Team of Illinois, will hold a public meeting to discuss the status of the GSA-IRS Detroit Computing Center Project and potential subcontracting opportunities for small business firms and businesses owned by minorities and women.
 WHEN: Wednesday, April 7
 10 a.m. to noon
 WHERE: Westin Hotel (Renaissance Center, Detroit)

 WHO: Open to public, particularly qualified firms meeting criteria as small, minority and woman-owned businesses.
 WHY: Construction to begin soon on the $100 million complex located in the city of Detroit. (Bounded on the east by John C. Lodge Drive, Michigan Avenue on the north and Third Avenue on the east). As part of a Community Outreach Program, the Walsh-Higgins & Company Team has pledged approximately $50 million to local firms.
