POSTAL SERVICE OPENS CENTER TO ASSIST BUSINESS MAILERS; PUBLIC INVITED TO ATTEND OPEN HOUSE

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Philadelphia District of the U.S. Postal Service announced today it will hold an open house Monday, Nov. 15, at the Bustleton Postal Business Center, 9925 Bustelton Ave., at 10 a.m.
The Business Center -- one of 95 the Postal Service plans to have open by year's end -- offers a wide range of services at no charge to assist local businesses in their mailing needs.
"We're pleased to provide our customers this valuable service," said DeWitt Harris, district manager, Customer Services. "Businesses are looking to cut costs while increasing productivity and profits, and I'm sure they'll be excited not only at what we can offer, but how determined we are to satisfy their needs."
Updating mailing lists, reducing the amount of undeliverable mail and mail piece design are examples of what the center offers, said Business Center Manager Brian Denneny.
"We're offering one-on-one consultation at no charge to our customers," Denneny said. "We encourage businesses to come and take advantage of our services."
The open house, which continues until 4 p.m., will offer area businesses a first-hand look at the latest technology the Postal Service offers to assist mailers and enhance their mailroom operations.
