Byline: - Sandra Barrera

Yule be boot-scoot boogieing, shaking your fists and boppin' with the sounds this holiday season brings.

By year's end, country superstars Toby Keith and Dolly Parton ride through town, Green Day and Social Distortion pack the pits, and teen queens Ashlee Simpson and Avril Lavigne rein in KIIS-FM listeners for one of the first star-studded radio events of the season.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

From Bette Midler's tribute to Rosemary Clooney to the high drama of Sarah Brightman and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, concertgoers have plenty to choose from. Here are some highlights. Tickets for all the events are available at Ticketmaster outlets, (213) 480-3232, or www.ticketmaster.com.
