POP THRILLS AT ARENA SHOW; Thousands enjoy Radio City Live.

HEADLINE acts from the world of music wowed crowds at Radio City Live.

The huge gig saw some of the biggest names in pop play to thousands of adoring fans at the ECHO Arena.

Boy bands Lawson and Union J were among the talent on stage, with Jessie J also proving a hit with the crowds.

The Saturday night event was a success with fans praising it on social networks.

Superstar Jessie J said it gave her a "proper good feeling" to headline the gig, watched by around 10,000 fans. Before the show she also praised the support she received every time she played in Liverpool.

She said: "It's the accent, the energy, and even driving up all the fans were like 'Jessie, Jessie' as we came and we drove in - you just feel their passion for you."

After the event former X Factor contestants Union J wrote to their Twitter fanbase of just over 1m: "Thanks soooo much to everyone at radio city live.

"You were amazing!! We love Liverpool!!! See you soon much love JJX"
