POP PERV JAILED; Big Country star's dad abused kids.
Byline: JAMES TAITTHE dad of late Big Country star Stuart Adamson has been jailed for four years after abusing three children over 100 times.
Evil William Adamson, 67, terrified the two girls and a boy, telling one it was "their little secret".
His horrifying six- year campaign of "systematic abuse" only ended when the boy told his mum about "games" he played with Adamson.
She confronted Adamson, who gave himself up to police.
Married dad-of-two Adamson, who has been placed on the Sex Offenders' Register, was later hounded from his luxury home by sickened neighbours.
At the High Court in Glasgow yesterday, Adamson, from Tullibody, Clacks, admitted three sexual assault charges between August 1997 and April 2003 at two addresses in Fife.
The court heard how the retired naval engineer carried out over a hundred acts of abuse on the children.
Jailing Adamson, Judge Lord Carloway said: "These are very serious offences involving the systematic abuse of three children."
His jail sentence comes two years after his tragic rock star son Stuart, 43, hanged himself in Hawaii.
The 43-year-old dad-of-two was found by a maid in a pounds 55-a-night hotel room after a long battle against alcoholism.
