POLAROID UNVEILS NATIONAL ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN FOR BUSINESS CUSTOMERS

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Polaroid Corporation (NYSE: PRD) is launching a national print advertising campaign targeting business customers to highlight the company's role in providing imaging solutions to a wide variety of businesses and industries.
The campaign includes five different print ads that showcase how Polaroid instant, electronic, and conventional imaging products are used in a wide range of businesses, such as construction, real estate, insurance, law enforcement and healthcare. Products featured in the campaign include Polaroid instant cameras designed for business, 35mm films, and the company's digital image scanner.
The ads will appear in national business and general interest publications, including "Time," "U.S. News and World Report," "Money," "Life" and "Sports Illustrated."
"This campaign shows how business customers are using Polaroid photography as an essential communications and documentation tool in running their everyday businesses," said Carol Phelan, Polaroid advertising manager for commercial markets. "In this era of immediate communication, instant photography is especially meaningful in the business world. This campaign is designed to convince decision-makers that Polaroid offers more surprising solutions in business today than most people think."
Each ad illustrates the benefits of Polaroid photography to a particular industry -- construction, real estate, insurance, healthcare and law enforcement -- and includes the tag line, "Until you know what we can do for your business, you haven't seen the whole picture." The ads also include a three-dimensional display of instant photos representing an industry where Polaroid photography can be an essential business tool.
The campaign was created by Leonard Monahan Lubars & Kelly, of Providence, R.I.
Polaroid Corporation with sales of over $2 billion, is the worldwide leader in instant imaging. The company supplies instant photographic cameras and films, conventional cameras and film, video tapes and electronic imaging products to markets worldwide, including amateur and professional photography, industry, science, medicine and education.
