 POLAROID INTRODUCES NEW HIGH DEFINITION FILM;
 OFFERS FULL LINE OF 35MM FAMILY IMAGING PRODUCTS
 CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Polaroid (NYSE: PRD) is expanding its line of 35mm family imaging products with the national introduction today of three new 35mm High Definition films. Offering consumers a full range of premium-quality, competitively priced films in the most popular film speed choices -- 100, 200 and 400 ISO -- new 35mm High Definition film complements Polaroid's multipurpose 35mm OneFilm introduced in 1989.
 "Polaroid is committed to meeting our customers' total family imaging needs," said Bruce B. Henry, Polaroid vice president, family imaging. "With new Polaroid 35mm High Definition films, we now provide family photographers with a complete line of premium-quality 35mm film options in addition to our popular instant photographic products."
 Polaroid High Definition film is available in 24- or 36-exposure rolls and introductory 12-exposure rolls. The films are available at major drug, food, mass merchandiser and camera store locations throughout the U.S. Polaroid 35mm High Definition films are priced competitively with leading premium-quality brands.
 Polaroid 35mm High Definition film is designed for amateur photographers seeking a competitively priced, premium-quality 35mm film for a variety of picture-taking situations and lighting conditions. While Polaroid 35mm OneFilm is ideally suited for most "point-and-shoot" photographic situations, Polaroid 35mm High Definition film provides family photographers seeking different film speed choices with a high- quality alternative to other popular, more expensive 35mm film brands.
 Polaroid OneFilm is available in 12-, 24- or 36-exposure rolls and 110 cartridges and OneFilm camera kits featuring either an auto-focus or fixed-focus automatic 35mm camera, a 24-exposure roll of OneFilm and batteries.
 Polaroid Corporation, with sales of more than $2 billion, is the worldwide leader in instant imaging. The company supplies instant photographic cameras and films, conventional films, videotapes and electronic visual communication products to family, business and technical and industrial markets.
