POEM OF THE DAY; Photo Story.

YOU take your camera everywhere on the off chance Of snapping that one still to end all other stills Sometimes you take a longer break in Spain or France Most weeks you go along the coast or to the hills You like having a hobby that shows off some skill You are completely self taught, you have never been To any class or camera club for fear they'll kill Your natural aperture and feel for a scene You've got over a thousand shots of Jesmond Dene But why are there no people in your photographs? You've been at it solidly since your early teens You're now not far off from needing an epitaph Amid the ruined forts we've not once seen your wife What does this say about you and your lot in life? ANDREW TAIT, Jesmond
