POEM OF THE DAY; Growing Old.

ONE thing I was never told, Was how I'd feel when I was old. No mention then of joints that ache, Or how much longer things might take!

The list goes on and on, knows no end, Dodgy knees that just won't bend.

But one thing I found a big surprise, The rewards you get from exercise Gently do it every day, just enough, Coax stiffish bits to do their stuff, Perhaps you try a weekly swim, Please persevere, don't give in. And in a while, it's true to tell You'll find you're moving rather well.

Yes, exercise will do this and more, Maybe a spin on the old dance floor.
