PMA delegation calls on chief justice of AJK.

MIRPUR (AJK) -- A delegation of Pakistan Mediator Association (PMA) called on Chief Justice of Azad Jammu Kashmir Justice Chaudhry Mohammad Ibrahim Zia on Friday.

The delegation was led by President Pakistan Mediator Association Anwar Kashif.

Senior judges of Supreme Court, Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan, Justice Sardar Abdul Hameed Khan and Secretary Law and Parliamentary Affairs Arshad Ahmed Qureshi were also present on the occasion.

The delegation presented suggestions to the chief justice Azad Jammu and Kashmir about consideration of intermediation in judicial proceedings and other civil cases.

The delegation also moved the preliminary applicable mediation mechanism already implemented in Punjab and Sindh to the chief justice AJK supreme court.

The chief justice appreciated the efforts made by the Pakistan Mediator Association for quick settlement in judicial cases.
