PM striving for prosperous Pakistan as per Quaid's vision: Kirmani.
KOTLI (AJK) -- Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Dr Asif Kirmani Monday said Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif was striving to make the country prosperous and developed, as per the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
Addressing the PML-N Workers' Convention here, he said the Kashmir issue was being highlighted at international fora under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and it would be resolved by him too.
Kirmani said he and the two federal ministers had not come here to seek votes rather they were here to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
He said the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir have decided to vote in favour of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the next general election in the valley.
The large attendance at the workers convention was a referendum in favour of PML-N, he said and added, the impact of various workers conventions at Kotli, Bhimber and Mirpur had also been felt by the leadership of PPP.
The vote power in the sub-continent had created Pakistan and now the Kashmiris would vote in favour of the party of Quaid-i-Azam, for changing their destiny, he said.
Voting for Nawaz Sharif was tantamount to voting for Pakistan and voting for Kashmir was like voting for its freedom.
It was pity that the Kashmir issue had been transformed into a bilateral issue by prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto by inking an agreement with India at Simla, he added.
Whereas Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has once again internationalized the Kashmir issue resultantly Indian prime ministers Narendra Modi and Atal Behari Vajpayee visited Pakistan on their own sweet will.
He said Mohammad Nawaz Sharif was the creator of modern and vibrant Pakistan and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif was the founder of modern Punjab. A progressive Pakistan means progressive Kashmir, he added.
Kirmani said the AJK Prime minister was threatening him and the federal ministers visiting Kashmir.
In case of any harm to them an FIR would be registered against the AJK Prime Minister and his cohorts, he added.
The AJK government was committed to corrupt practices and
also using threatening language. The same government had rigged the AJK election in 2011.
The soldiers of Nawaz Sharif would compete with them at every nook and cranny, he added.
Kirmani vociferously responded the slogans of the charged youth.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his team was trying their utmost to overcome the menace of load-shedding.
He said the presence of entire youth of Kotli at the convention transpired their political affiliation and negated the claims of other parties in this regard.
