PM calls for publicizing human rights national plan.

Amman, March 22 (Petra) -- Prime Minister, Abdullah Ensour, on Tuesday, instructed ministries, public departments and institutions to publish the Comprehensive National Plan on Human Rights on their official websites.

In an official circular, the prime minister called upon ministries, public departments and institutions to instruct stakeholders to examine the plan's executive provisions, in order to begin enforcing it. He also called for working closely with the government's coordinator on human rights and to follow up on the process of executing the plan.

The statement comes after the recent launching of the 2016-2025 Comprehensive National Plan on Human Rights, and to prepare for the next steps after setting the executive plan.

The Comprehensive National Plan on Human Rights, which was drafted upon a royal directive and was recently handed to His Majesty King Abdullah, constitutes the Kingdom's effective approach to promote human rights in the next ten years.
