PM Atambaev, Ambassador of Belarus discuss bilateral ties.

The current bilateral ties in commercial, economic and humanitarian cooperation and their prospects were reviewed at the meeting of Prime Minister Almazbek Atambaev and Ambassador of Belarus Viktor Denisenko on March 2 in Bishkek."I think that the intergovernmental commission for commercial and economic cooperation is an effective mechanism of bilateral cooperation coordination and we should utilize this tool to a full degree. Hopefully, the next meeting of this commission will be held in the nearest time and we will be able to discuss issues and to identify projects for collaborative implementation," the Prime Minister said.Ambassador Viktor Denisenko in turn agreed that both states do not utilize bilateral partnership potential to a full degree. "Bilateral trade reached $5.98 million last year. This is not the limit," the Ambassador said and added that the bilateral cooperation could be brought to a higher level. The necessity to intensify bilateral partnership in various spheres was underscored at the meeting.
