PM: We've beaten the recession; ECONOMY.
GORDON Brown will today praise the success of action taken to fight the slump - as new figures show the recession is finally OVER.
Official statistics out tomorrow are set to reveal that Britain's economy is growing again.
The Prime Minister will say government policies helped keep more people in work and in their homes, boosting recovery.
Unemployment has fallen by 7,000, unlike other recessions.
Mr Brown will unveil a new pounds 125million fund to develop green industries and jobs, along with a pledge of education or training for all young people out of work.
The PM will say Tory plans for big spending cuts would choke off recovery.
He said yesterday: "It is clear that a determined and active government can make a difference."
