PINNACLE PUBLISHING NAMES NEW EDITOR IN CHIEF

 SEATTLE, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Dian Schaffhauser, formerly senior editor and managing editor for Data Based Advisor magazine, has been named editor in chief of Pinnacle Publishing Inc. During her seven-year stint at Data Based Advisor, Schaffhauser covered a broad range of news and trends for the PC database-management industry.
 Schaffhauser was previously with Computer Economics, a publisher of newsletters for data-processing executives, and Computer Information Ltd., a publishing firm that addressed the needs of entrepreneurs in the computer business. She was also the publisher and editor of Women Computing, a newsletter for computer professionals.
 Pinnacle Publishing currently publishes five product-specific newsletters: Smart Access(TM), for users and developers who work with Microsoft(R) Access(TM); FoxTalk(TM), for developers who work with Microsoft's FoxPro(R); Reference(Clipper)(TM), a newsletter for developers who use Computer Associates' CA-Clipper(R); Alpha Forum(TM), for users of Alpha Software's Alpha Four(TM); and The Quick Answer(TM), for users of Symantec Corp.'s Q&A(TM). The company also produces special reports on technical topics for developers and users.
