PICK OF THE DAY; Live International Cricket (Sky Sports 1, 6.00am).

Australia take on South Africa in the opening one-dayer of the five-game series, held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The last time the two sides met at this stadium in a limited-overs encounter was in 2002, when the Proteas took the honours with a four-wicket victory. However, the Aussies exacted their revenge by defeating Graeme Smith's men twice at the city's other main cricket venue, the Telstra Dome, in 2006, and come into this match as strong favourites having won four of their last five 50-overs matches against the Proteas.
