PHYSICIAN CORPORATION OF AMERICA ACQUIRES SIX MEDICAL CENTERS IN SOUTH FLORIDA

 MIAMI, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Physician Corporation of America (NASDAQ: PCAM) has completed an acquisition of six medical centers in South Floirda which provide primary health care to approximately 18,000 of PCA's Florida membership. PCA now owns 26 medical centers in Florida.
 Physician Corporation of America provides comprehensive health care services through its health maintenance organizations located in Florida and Texas. The company's HMOs cover commercial groups and individuals as well as beneficiaries of various federal, state, and local government programs.
