PHOTOCOMM INTRODUCES NEW TECHNOLOGY SOLAR ELECTRIC PRODUCT LINE

 SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Photocomm (NASDAQ: PCOM) today announced market introduction of a new solar electric product line incorporating lower-cost, thin film solar cell technology developed by Advanced Photovoltaic Systems Inc. (APS).
 The Photocomm product line features PowerValue(TM) solar electric modules with power ratings of 27 and 53 watts, rugged aluminum framing, double-glass laminate construction, a polycarbonate junction box, and 12-year power output warranty. PowerValues are expected to be the lowest cost modules currently available in this power range.
 The new product line also includes four packaged solar electric systems targeted to specific market applications, each powered by one PowerValue (TM) 27 watt module.

 -- SunFone(TM) Cellular Telephone
 -- SunSentry(TM) Bus Shelter Lighting
 Photocomm's new thin film solar electric product line is a result of the company's previously announced (Oct. 28, 1992) Marketing Cooperation Agreement with APS, headquartered in Princeton, N.J.
 Photocomm Inc. is the nation's largest publicly owned solar electric systems manufacturing and marketing company with corporate headquarters in Scottsdale. The company's common stock is listed on the NASDAQ system under the symbol PCOM.
