PHOENIX EAST TO TRAIN SOME OF ITS STUDENTS AT OTHER FLORIDA AIRPORTS
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Phoenix East Aviation is currently negotiating with other Florida flying schools to enable some of its private pilot students to undergo training at these locations.
President Nino Ciancetta explained the advantages: "This arrangement will relieve some of the overcrowding of the primary training, allowing the school to allocate more time to the advanced programs as well as the corporate and airline contracts."
Ciancetta said the private pilot course entails 45 hours of flight training in addition to 70 hours of ground school. The entire course, he added, requires about two months.
Ciancetta is also president of the Phoenix College of Aeronautics, which began operation early this year, and which uses the flight facilities of Phoenix East Aviation.
Established in 1972, Phoenix East Aviation has gained worldwide recognition for its educational training facilities. Licensed under the Department of Transportation as a certified pilot school, Phoenix East offers ground school and flight training from an initial private pilot course to airline transport pilot course.
