PHOENIX EAST AVIATION AWARDED MULTIPLE FLIGHT TRAINING
 CONTRACT FROM SAUDI ARABIAN AIRLINES
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Phoenix East Aviation, Inc. was awarded a multiple flight training contract from Saudi Arabian Airlines. The agreement is the result of Phoenix East Aviation and Saudi Arabian Airlines working to develop specific programs to meet the needs of the airline for specific pilot positions and different levels of proficiency.
The Ab-Initio Program will take cadets without previous flight experience to a commercial-instrument, multi-engine aircraft license. Other programs will advance them into flight engineer and air transport category flight officer positions.
Phoenix East Aviation has completed the training of the first six trainees through the advanced programs. They have since entered their first officer training in Jeddah.
Phoenix East Aviation has been in the flight training business since 1972 and has worked at developing the most advanced Ab-Inito Airline Training program over the past four years. Phoenix East Aviation is the only non-airline owned flight training center that offers a program that brings a pilot with no previous experience to an air transport pilot proficiency and rating with turbo-prop, turbo-jet training as well as cockpit resource management. Trainees also receive FAR 135 training as well as single-engine and multi-engine checkouts. All trainees will complete their flight engineer written exams. Most of the training, as well as the 1,500 hours, is completed in less than two years.
Besides offering the most comprehensive program in aviation, Phoenix East Aviation is able to offer all these programs at one location...Daytona Beach, Fla.
