PHILADELPHIA FIRM WINS GSA CONTRACT WORTH $2 MILLION
 FOR FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT
WASHINGTON, July 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announced today the award of a four-year contract with an estimated value of $2 million to Insinger Machine Co. of Philadelphia to provide food service equipment.
The contract permits federal agencies to place orders with the firm for items such as dishwashers, food waste disposers and peeler, slicer and dicer machines.
The contract was awarded through GSA's multiple award schedules program under which GSA negotiates prices with vendors. Agencies then may order goods or services directly from the vendor at set prices. The contract value is an estimate of the volume of purchases federal agencies may make during the life of the contract.
