PHIL is back.

PHIL is back in the area a week later when Show of Hands make a return appearance at Rugby Roots in the town's Lawrence Sheriff School. He and multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Steve Knightley will be joined by singer and double bass player Miranda Sykes.

Steve was forced to pull out of the band's Rugby gig last December, when his son was taken ill.

Organiser Richard Barnes says: "Phil and Miranda put on a great show for us but we're very much looking forward to seeing the full line-up again."

Tickets for the September 27 show can be booked on 01788 567338.
