PHACTS Becomes the Exclusive USA Distributor for CRETEM Automated Medication Packagers.

SEATTLE -- PHACTS, LLC, a leader in Pharmacy Inventory Management and Workflow Process Systems, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement to sell the CRETEM, Co, Ltd. Automated Medication Packagers in the USA to Hospital Pharmacies.

The CRETEM Automated Packager will be marketed by PHACTS as PharmoPack[TM] and will provide on-demand medication order fulfillment for hospital patients as directed by Pharmogistics[TM], the PHACTS enterprise-wide inventory management software.

"We are delighted to be distributing the Cretem Packager which is technologically more advanced and requires less maintenance than other comparable products on the market" said Thomas McCarthy, PHACTS Executive Vice President & Co-founder. "The PHACTS team has been involved in over 300 packager installations in the USA and the CRETEM packager has corrected all of the problems that we'd commonly see in other popular brands of packagers."

"PHACTS is the perfect partner for us" said Ho-Yeon Kim, CEO of Cretem. "Their team has over 35 years of experience working with hospital pharmacies and easily interfaces our product into their perpetual inventory and workflow process system." Bryan Oh, Sales Director for InfopiaUSA added, "We believe that this partnership will allow hospital pharmacies to have the most advanced automated solutions available."

PharmoPack packages up to 70 doses per minute and includes the description of the medication, lot number & expiration, along with a barcode and other pertinent information on each package. It has a smaller footprint than other packaging systems and is much easier to use with enhanced and unique features to package any size and shape of oral solid medications as well as partial tablets.

"Most hospitals are working towards the use of Barcode Point of Care (BPOC), or scanning at the bed-side, to ensure that the right patient receives the right medication" said May McCarthy, PHACTS President & CEO. "PharmoPack ensures that medications delivered to the patient care areas have a readable barcode to enable BPOC and increase patient safety. We're excited to be offering such a superior product to our customers."
