PETRO PLUS INC. ANNOUNCES SIGNING OF CONTRACT WITH HUSKY OIL MARKETING CO. KELOWNA, British Columbia, March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- On March 9, 1992, Petro Plus Inc. announced that it had signed a contract with Husky Oil Marketing Co. to install Video Graphic Monitors at Husky stations throughout Canada. This is the first service station application of this technology in Canada. The petro-vision system utilizes high resolution graphic video screens installed at service islands. The system will present public service announcements such as upcoming local events, road and weather conditions, tourist information, child find notices, local and national commercial messages. The revenue from the sale of advertising is projected to be approximately $12 million annually based on completion of the installations at all Husky stations. The high quality graphic animated advertisement will be updated frequently. Installation work of the petro-vision system is scheduled to begin in mid April in the Calgary area. Husky has more than 250 branded service stations in operation from Ontario to British Columbia.
