PETRAZZOLO JOINS ARIZONA TECHNOLOGY FIRM AFTER 19 YEARS WITH DEC

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Edwin P. Petrazzolo has been named director of sales for IMT -- Interactive Media Technologies -- an Arizona-based manufacturer of multimedia production hardware and software.
After leaving DEC -- Digital Equipment Corp. -- following 19 years of service as general manager for Phoenix operations, Petrazzolo accepted the position with IMT to build its sales organization and to contribute to the general growth of the company. "It's a different feeling [working with a smaller company]. You really get to wear a lot of hats," says Petrazzolo.
While with DEC, Petrazzolo was active in a number of community and civic involvements. He is founding chairman of the Phoenix Excellence in Education Commission and served on the board of the Maricopa Community College Foundation and ASU Engineering Advisory Board. "Ed's experience in management as well as his passion to provide solutions for education and learning environments makes him a valuable asset for the company. We're very excited to have him as part of the team," said Allan Ayars, president and chief executive officer of IMT.
Petrazzolo holds degrees from Holy Cross College and Boston College. He joined Digital in 1974 and assisted in the company's plant start-ups in Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona.
