PERSONNEL GROUP OF AMERICA APPOINTS INTERIM CFO.

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 25, 1996--Personnel Group of America, Inc. (NYSE:PGA), a diversified personnel staffing services company, today announced that Ken R. Bramlett, Jr. has been appointed interim chief financial officer while the Company seeks a permanent replacement for Michael P. Bernard, who has resigned effective December 31, 1996, to pursue other business opportunities.

In announcing the resignation and interim appointment, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Edward P. Drudge, Jr., said, "Mike Bernard has been an integral part of PGA's transition into an independent, publicly traded company. He helped us create our infrastructure and systems, and we are appreciative for what he has done. We certainly wish him well in his future endeavors."

Bramlett joined PGA in October in the newly created position of senior vice president-administration, general counsel and corporate secretary. His responsibilities include corporate development, legal affairs, investor relations, human resources and risk management.

"Ken has played a vital role in our company for the past 18 months, first as our outside legal counsel and then as a member of our management team," Drudge said. "He has been a key player in all of our capital markets transactions and acquisitions and can easily assume the interim post of chief financial officer."

Bramlett earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He joined the Charlotte firm of Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson, P.A., in 1984 and became a partner in 1990.
