PERSONAL FINANCE: Investing abroad.

Barclays Stockbrokers is offering investors exposure to the global property market in a bond which offers 100 per cent protection of the original deposit if held for the full five year term. It can be held in a self-select ISA to protect against tax on capital gains.

Open to investments until June 29, the fund will invest in European, Japanese and US property funds and companies, and investors should get 130 per cent of any rise in the basket of investments held. Information through Barclays branches.
