PERFECT 10 IN SPAIN'S TAHITI ROUT.

SPAIN ..............10 TAHITI ............... 0 WORLD and European champions Spain cruised to a 10-0 rout of part-timers Tahiti to book their place in the semi-finals of the Confederations Cup in Rio de Janeiro last night.

A much-changed line-up crushed Tahiti with former Liverpool striker Fernando Torres (pictured) hitting four - and missing a penalty - and fellow striker David Villa grabbing a hat-trick. There were other goals from David Silva (2) and Juan Mata.

Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina made a rare outing for Vicente del Bosque's side and hardly had a real save to make throughout.

Spain's last Group B match is against Nigeria on Sunday.
