PER Public Service excellence awards. (Recognition By Their Peers).

The Public Employees Roundtable (PER) is a coalition of 32 organizations of managerial and professional organizations (including the publishers of The Public Manager) representing some 1,700,000 active and retired federal employees. PER presented its annual excellence awards at its Breakfast of Champions during Public Service Recognition Week in May.

The federal award went to the Civil Service Aircraft Maintenance Team, Laughlin Air Force Base, TX. Right: The state award winner was the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.

The county award was won by the Lee County, FL Education and Employment Program. Right: The interagency/intergovernmental award was presented to the Los Angeles County Health Authority Law Enforcement Task Force (HALT).

The city winner was the New York City Mayor's Office of Emergency Management. Right: The Rising Six at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois won the community service award.
