PEOPLES PLANS NEW CENTRE COUNTY OFFICE

STATE COLLEGE, Pa., Nov. 24 ~PRNewswire~ -- Peoples Bank has applied for permission to open its 17th office.
According to bank President and Chief Executive Officer David B. Lee, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency must first give approval for the bank to go ahead with the new branch at the corner of East College Avenue and South Garner Street in State College.
"We have been looking for a location in this part of town for some time," Lee said. "We have several commercial customers operating businesses near the new location. Many of our other customers are in the area working, shopping, or going to classes. We also see an opportunity for new customers. When this space became available, we knew it was right for us."
Lee said the new office will be designed for quick service. MAC, tellers and customer service representatives will be available in an attractive, readily accessible office design.
Peoples National Bank is an affiliate of Omega Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: OMEF) headquartered in State College, which currently operates 22 banking offices in Centre, Clinton, Juniata and Mifflin counties.
