SolarCraft, a Northern California solar installation company, announced that Bruce W. King has joined the company as chief financial officer.

A former Senior Associate with Coopers & Lybrand, King was most recently the chief financial and operations officer of the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), based in San Rafael, Calif. Prior to joining CTI, Bruce was co-owner and president of Kingsbrook Foods, where sales grew more than four-fold over his tenure.

"The experience with fast growing companies that Bruce brings to SolarCraft is invaluable at this stage," said SolarCraft President Bill Stewart. "As we continue to expand, he will play a crucial role in our growth and management."

King received his BA in economics from Colgate University and his MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business. He is also a licensed CPA.

SolarCraft has also expanded its offices, bringing the total area owned and leased by the company to over 14,000 square feet.

SolarCraft has been providing solar thermal and solar electric services for more than 24 years, installing more than 4,300 solar energy systems in California with over 1.3 million square feet of solar collector surface area.
