PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORIES

 PHILADELPHIA, July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Turnpike today issued the following traffic advisories:
 Dates: August 1993
 Location/
 Project: From the Philadelphia Interchange (No. 28) to the
 Delaware River Bridge Interchange (No. 30).
 Paving from milepost 351 to milepost 359.
 Location/
 Project: From the Downingtown Interchange (No. 23) to
 approximately six miles east of the interchange.
 The transferal of concrete barrier from the
 vicinity of the Downingtown Interchange (No. 23)
 to the area between the Philadelphia Interchange
 (No. 28) and the Delaware River Bridge Interchange
 (No. 30).
 Lanes Closed: Varying lane closures both east and westbound from
 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.. beginning each Monday evening
 through Friday morning in August.
 Traffic Delay: None anticipated.
 All lanes of traffic will be available on weekends and holidays.
 ------
 Dates: Monday, Aug. 2, through the end of November
 Time: Off-peak daytime hours
 Location: On the Northeast Extension at milepost A110.4,
 located just outside the Clarks Summit
 Interchange (No. 38).
 Lanes Closed: Periodic, short-term ramp closings
 Traffic Delays: Traffic stoppages will occur periodically for a
 maximum of 15 minutes on the Interstate 81 ramps
 which carry traffic from the Turnpike to
 Interstate 81 and from Interstate 81 to State
 Routes 6 and 11. No other traffic delays are
 anticipated
 Project: Rehabilitation of Turnpike bridge at milepost
 A110.4.
 ------
 Dates: Monday, Aug. 16, through the end of November.
 Location: Approximately eight miles south of the Lehigh Valley
 Interchange (No. 33) to approximately two miles
 north of the interchange, both north and
 southbound on the Northeast Extension.
 Lanes Closed: Varying single lane closures north and southbound
 beginning Monday morning at 5 a.m. to Friday
 afternoon at 3 p.m.
 Traffic Delay: None anticipated.
 Project: Paving between milepost A28.99 and milepost A39.35.
 Two lanes of traffic will be available on weekends and holidays.
 ------
 Dates: August through December
 Location: From one mile east of the Norristown Interchange
 (No. 25) at milepost 334.2 to one mile west of the
 Delaware River Bridge (No. 30) at milepost 358.
 The Willow Grove Interchange (No. 27) at milepost
 342.6.
 Lanes Closed: Varying lane closures both east and westbound,
 beginning each Monday evening through Friday
 morning, from 7 p.m to 7 a.m.
 Traffic Delay: None anticipated.
 Project: Installation of Sonic Nap Alert Pattern and Recessed
 Reflective Pavement Markers between milepost 334.2
 and milepost 350.9.
 Rehabilitation of the Willow Grove Interchange
 ramps.
 Paving and bridge repairs between milepost 350.9 and
 milepost 359.
 All lanes of traffic will be available on weekends and holidays.
 Motorists are urged to use caution in these areas and to remember to give Turnpike workers a "brake."
