 PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE COMMISSION'S FINANCIAL REPORT WINS AWARD
 HARRISBURG, Pa., April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- For the fourth year in a row, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission has been awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association.
 The certificate acknowledges the high standards of financial reporting contained in the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission's Annual Financial Report to Bondholders for the fiscal year ending May 31, 1991.
 The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting. "This award represents a significant accomplishment by the Turnpike and its management," said Executive Director John L. Sokol Jr.
 The award was presented to J.D. Fogarty, deputy executive director, Finance & Administration, by Turnpike Commission Chairman Howard Yerusalim. Samuel A. Boova, controller, and Robert J. Smith, director of Operations Review, were also recognized for their contributions to the Annual Financial Report. Fogarty has been serving as chief financial officer for the Turnpike Commission since August 1988. A native of the Pittsburgh area, he is a member of the board of directors for the Harrisburg YMCA.
