PENNSYLVANIA MINORITY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY APPROVES
$50,000 LOAN TO PHILADELPHIA PRINTING COMPANY
HARRISBURG, Pa., Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Commerce Secretary Andrew T. Greenberg announced today the approval of a $50,000 Pennsylvania Minority Business Development Authority (PMBDA) loan that will enable a Philadelphia printer to expand its operations.
The loan was awarded to T&R Dormoi Printing of 213 W. Indiana Ave., Philadelphia, to renovate its building and purchase equipment and to provide working capital. The company also plans to export used and reconditioned printing equipment to Panama and other countries.
The project is expected to create three jobs and preserve three others.
"PMBDA loans often provide established minority small businesses with the capital they need to expand," Greenberg said. "We're using PMBDA and other financing programs to help out home-grown businesses expand and find new markets."
PMBDA loans may be used to purchase land or buildings, machinery and equipment and for working capital. The maximum loan amount is $200,000.
More information on PMBDA financing programs can be obtained by contacting the Pennsylvania Minority Business Development Authority, 461 Forum Building, Harrisburg, Pa. 17120.
