PENNDOT ISSUES TRAFFIC ALERTS

 PITTSBURGH, March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced the following traffic alerts.
 -- Route 48, Monroeville:
 Monday, March 15, through June, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., daily, traffic at the intersection of Northern Pike and Route 48 will be reduced to one lane in each direction during intersection widening, new signalization, drainage and paving.
 -- Route 60 (Steubenville Pike) - Robinson, Kennedy townships:
 Currently, and continuing for the next two weeks, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays, motorists may encounter traffic restrictions on Route 60 (Steubenville Pike) between the Interstate 79 overpass and Moon Run Road during geotechnical operations.
 Overhead sign structure inspections are scheduled as follows; motorists may encounter restrictions between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
 -- New Elizabeth Bridge on Route 51, Elizabeth - Thursday, March 18;
 -- Glassport-Clairton Bridge on Route 837, Clairton - Thursday, March 18;
 -- Clairton-Glassport Bridge on Glassport and Elizabeth roads, Glassport - Thursday, March 18;
 -- Business Route 22 between Monroeville Mall overpass and Route 48, and between Monroeville Mall and Interstate 376 (Parkway East), Monroeville - Friday, March 19;
 -- Penn-Lincoln Parkway, just east of the turnpike, Monroeville - Friday, March 19;
 -- Peterson Drive and Flynn Avenue intersection, East Pittsburgh - Friday, March 19;
 -- Parkway West (Interstate 279) outbound near the Stanwix Street entrance ramp, Pittsburgh - Saturday, March 20;
 -- Parkway East (Interstate 376) outbound between the Fort Pitt Bridge and the Oakland exit, Pittsburgh - Saturday, March 20;
 -- Parkway East (Interstate 376) outbound between Grant Street exit and Squirrel Hill/Homestead exit, Pittsburgh - Sunday, March 21; and
 -- Parkway East (Interstate 376) inbound between Squirrel Hill Tunnels and Oakland exit, Pittsburgh - Sunday, March 21.
 All work schedules are subject to weather conditions.
