 PENNDOT ISSUES TRAFFIC ALERTS
 PITTSBURGH, May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Department of


Transportation (PennDOT) today issued the following traffic alerts:
 -- Route 28 - Blawnox:
 Friday, May 29, by evening rush hour, the inbound (southbound) lanes of Route 28 will reopen between Delafield Road and Blawnox. This effectively completes, more than one month ahead of schedule, the resurfacing project which began in April.
 -- Interstate 79 - Franklin Park Borough:
 Monday, June 1, through Thursday, June 4, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., traffic on Interstate 79 just north of the Route 910 ramp will be reduced by one lane northbound during concrete pavement replacement.
 -- Burgettstown Road - Findlay Township:
 Today, May 28, through Saturday, May 30, and Monday, June 1, through Wednesday, June 3, during daylight hours, Burgettstown Road from Route 30 to Potato Garden Road, traffic will be reduced to one lane, alternating, during paving operations.
 -- Steen Hollow Road - Collier, South Fayette townships
 Friday and Saturday, May 29 and 30, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Steen Hollow Road from Adams Run Road to Oakdale Road will be closed to through traffic. Traffic will be detoured to Thoms Run and Oakdale roads.
 -- First Street, Kline Avenue - Turtle Creek:
 Today, May 28, through June 15, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., First Street and Kline Avenue will be reduced to one lane, alternating, during repair of slides.
 -- Peebles Road - McCandless Township:
 Friday, May 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., traffic on Peebles Road between Duncan Avenue and Parkway Road will be reduced to one-way, alternating.
 -- McMichael Road - Robinson Township:
 Thursday, June 4, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., traffic on McMichael Road between Campbell's Run Road and McCormick Road will be reduced to one lane, alternating, during paving operations.
 -- Piney Fork Road - South Park Township:
 Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., traffic on Piney Fork Road between Brownsville Road and Snowden Road will be reduced to one lane, alternating, during paving operations.
 -- River Road - Forward Township:
 Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., traffic on River Road between Route 136 and Kelly Run Road will be reduced to one lane, alternating, during paving operations.
 -- Chartiers Avenue - Bridgeville Borough:
 Friday, June 5, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., traffic on Chartiers Avenue from Washington Avenue to Bank Street will be reduced to one lane, alternating, during paving operations.
 Work schedules are subject to weather conditions.
