PENNDOT ANNOUNCES LANE CLOSURES ON AREA HIGHWAYS SCHEDULED NEXT WEEK
 ST. DAVIDS, Pa., July 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Short-term traffic restrictions will go into effect on several Philadelphia area highways next week (July 6-10) for paving, utility restoration and surveying, PennDoT said today.
 In Philadelphia, one lane will be closed one direction at a time on U.S. Route 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between Ninth Street and the Twin Bridges on Tuesday and Wednesday (July 7 and 8) from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. for surveying. Flagging will control traffic.
 In Delaware County, the restoration of utility trenches on U.S. Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Radnor Township will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction near State Route 320, Monday through Friday (July 6-10), from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. The paving is being done for Philadelphia Electric.
 In Bucks County, paving will restrict travel on the following roads:
 -- Newtown Road (State Route 413 Connector) between State Routes 413 and 532 in Newtown Township, Monday through Friday (July 6-10), from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
 -- State Route 413 between U.S. Route 202 and Dark Hollow Road in Buckingham, Plumstead and Bedminster townships, Monday through Friday (July 6-10), from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
 -- Blooming Glen Road between State Route 113 and Old Bethlehem Road in Hilltown Township, Tuesday through Friday (July 7-10), from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
 In Montgomery County, paving will restrict travel on the following roads:
 -- Joshua Road between Flourtown Road and Germantown Pike in Abington Township, Monday (July 6), from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 -- North Lane between Hector and Righter streets in Conshohocken, Tuesday (July 7), from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 -- Hector Street between Lee and Apple streets in Conshohocken, Tuesday (July 7), from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 -- Stenton Avenue between Walton Road and Midway Lane in Whitemarsh Township, Wednesday (July 8) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 -- Morris Road between Mount Pleasant Avenue and Bluebell Pike in Whitpain Township, Thursday (July 9), from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 -- State Route 73 (Skippack Pike) between U.S. Route 202 and Bethlehem Pike in Whitemarsh and Whitpain townships, Friday (July 10), from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday (July 11), from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 In Chester County, southbound State Route 100 will be reduced from two lanes to one just south of Howard Road, from July 11 to July 17, for concrete restoration by Bell Telephone.
 The schedules are dependent on dry weather.
