 PENNDOT ANNOUNCES CONSTRUCTION-RELATED TRAFFIC ALERTS
 PITTSBURGH, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced the following construction-related traffic alerts:
 -- Route 51 (Saw Mill Run Boulevard) - Pittsburgh
 Beginning Monday, Aug. 31, southbound traffic on Route 51 between Overbrook Avenue and Whited Street may be reduced to one lane in each direction during off-peak hours during bridge deck replacement. Between 6 and 9 a.m., inbound traffic will not be reduced. Between 3 and 6 p.m., outbound traffic will not be reduced. Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., reductions may occur as necessary.
 -- Route 8 - Shaler Township
 Monday, Aug. 31, through Thursday, Sept. 3, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., traffic on Route 8 between Pennview Drive and Saxonburg Boulevard/Middle Road will be reduced during inlet and pipe installation. The southbound curb lane will be closed (one lane southbound will remain open).
 -- Route 65 (Ohio River Boulevard) - Bellevue Borough
 Currently, and continuing until Monday, Sept. 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., traffic on Ohio River Boulevard from Kendale Avenue to just north of Riverview Avenue will be reduced as necessary during geotechnical operations.
 All work schedules are subject to weather conditions.
