PENNDOT: INTERSTATE 676 WEST WILL BE DOWN TO ONE LANE
ST. DAVIDS, Pa., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Interstate 676 westbound

between 8th and 10th streets will be down to one lane on Monday, Jan. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the inspection of the 10th Street bridge which was damaged after being hit by a privately owned trash truck last year.
The raised lift of the truck damaged Philadelphia Thermal Company's steam line, the overhead directional signs and part of the bridge which will have to undergo concrete repairs, Stephen B. Lester, district engineer for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, said. The repairs will be rescheduled in the early spring, Lester said, and will require lane closures over several days.
