PEG Bandwidth acquires InLine broadband business.


6 August 2013 a[euro]" US backhaul networks provider PEG Bandwidth LLC said on Tuesday it had completed the takeover of the broadband operations that belonged to Contact Network Inc, doing business as InLine.

PEG did not mention how much it had paid for the InLine business. The purchase will provide the company with a platform for the expansion of its fibre-based broadband services into the markets which the acquired firm serves.

At present, InLine offers broadband services in Mississippi and Alabama. The companya[euro](tm)s network covers nearly 1,100 route miles in the two US states.
