PEEK AT THE WEEK.
Monday: Heartburn Hotel, BBC 1, 10.00pm. Dubbed a contemporary Fawlty Towers, this delves into darker depths. It follows the ill fortunes of Harry (Tim Healy) who bought a hotel in Birmingham because he thought the Olympics would be hosted there in 1992.TUESDAY: Loved By You, ITV 8.30pm. John Gordon Sinclair has all the luck. First he gets Clare Grogan and now he meets model Caprice, left. Well, virtually.
WEDNESDAY: Taggart, ITV, 9.00pm. Jackie Reid (Blythe Duff) goes undercover on an outwward bound course for businessman and gets into some chilly waters.
THURSDAY: Babes In The Wood, ITV 9.00pm. Of course people will be tuning into this because of the comedy and not to see whether Big Breakfast's Denise Van Outen can actually act or to see Samantha Janus on telly (again). This takes much from popular US sitcoms like Friends and Roseanne. Let's hope it is half as successful.
FRIDAY: South Park, Channel 4, 11.10pm. The boys' hunting trip is threatened by a mysterious creature. Watch it, video it, do anything to see it, because this is the funniest cartoon on the box, well-worthy of its cult status in America.
