PECO HOSTS RECEPTION FOR LATIN AMERICAN ART EXHIBIT

 On Friday, Sept. 17, Philadelphia Electric Company (PECO) will host a reception to mark the opening of a Latin American Art Exhibit, sponsored jointly with the Latino Scholarship Fund Inc., headed by Dr. Christine Torres-Matrullo, board director, School District of Philadelphia.
 The art exhibit and reception recognizes the national celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and the local Puerto Rican Week Festival.
 The reception and exhibit will be held in the lobby at PECO headquarters, 2301 Market St., Philadelphia, from 5-8 p.m. The program is scheduled for 6-6:30 p.m.
 The various watercolors, canvases, etchings and silkscreens are by Latino artists residing in the Delaware Valley, as well as in Spain and South and Central America. The exhibit includes the work of Edwin Arocho, Alberto Becerra, Adrianna and Amaya Espinoza, Ralfka Gonzalez, Maria de los Angeles Morales, Domingo Negron, and David Salama.
