PEC Solutions Wins Second Judiciary Support Contract; Multiple-Award Program Valued up to Potential $93 Million.

FAIRFAX, Va. -- PEC Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ NM:PECS) announced today that the Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AOUSC) has awarded the company the Judiciary Multiple Awards Schedule for Information Technology Technical Support (JMAS- ITTS) for the Federal Judiciary. The period of performance for JMAS-ITTS is one year with four option years. JMAS-ITTS has a potential value of approximately $93M, if all options are exercised.

This is the second of two JMAS contracts awarded to PEC in the past few months. The previous contract, the Judiciary Multiple Awards Schedule for Project Management Planning and Acquisition Support (JMAS- PMPAS) was awarded in late May. Work under the JMAS-ITTS award will include software design, development and integration, independent testing, quality assurance, operations and maintenance, and local area network (LAN) and computer support. This contract will enable PEC to continue support of programs such as the Judiciary's flagship Case Management and Electronic Case Filing systems (CM/ECF). Services under this contract will be provided at the AOUSC's office in Washington, D.C.; San Antonio, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona; and potentially at court units throughout the United States and its territories.

PEC is teamed with blueprintQA, an Arizona-based independent verification and validation (IV&V) company, and Vertex, Inc, a Virginia-based training company. Both companies are well known to the Judiciary.
