PEAKY PAUL: I WAS TOUT OF ORDER; Talk TV.
Byline: with JANINE YAQOOB
Peaky Blinders hardman Paul Anderson has confessed to working the football grounds as a ticket tout.
The actor who plays deranged gangland killer Arthur Shelby said: "I loved it - a wealth of experience.
"I earned a lot of money but that was all I got out of it. Artistically, there was nothing in that for me. I'd always wanted to do something else."
The actor, 39, has won a global fan base with his terrifying portrayal of the Shelby clan's feared enforcer.
But he didn't always set his sights on being an actor.
He tells me: "I always wanted to be a frontman in a band. I wanted to be a lead singer. Nothing else."
Series four on BBC2 has the Shelby firm in big trouble after two killings by Arthur spiralled into a New York Mafia vendetta.
Viewers saw him despatch a pair of Sicilian hitmen with a lump hammer and pistol and on Wednesday the gang are lured into a cat-and-mouse chase on the streets of Birmingham.
